Liam's 4th Birthday Party

Thankfully the weather was good, and we were able to have the party outdoors.
This was the first time we've had enough kids to fill the seats.
Apparently this thing is much more fun with  6 than it is with two.
I forgot to take pictures of the Lego cake :(.........If you look really closely you can see Liam's Lego piece.

I had a dream, Jesse had the skills.

It goes nicely with the "Sand Boat" in the background. The Sand Boat is just that, an old fiberglass boat that we gutted and filled with sand.

I'd say it was a hit. The kids were all over it for quite a while.

Its pretty amazing how many kids can fit in it.

If you can't tell from the picture, you can crawl right into the barrel.

There was no announcement needed, the kids just flocked to it,
much the same way that the adults flocked to the food.

A good time was had by most. It was originally supposed to be a water themed party. We had bought a bunch of new water sprinkler type toys and a kiddy pool. Unfortunately our pump died, which resulted in Jesse and Paul spending pretty much the entire day, and a good part of the night overhauling our water system. We ended up with a much nicer water system, but Jess and Paul missed most of the party. However, I was very happy that we had filled the kiddy pool before the pump quit. So the kids were still able to get wet, very wet.  We just had to convince them to keep the water in the pool, because we couldn't fill it up again.
